Stretched Canvas – The canvas is sealed and then stretched around a wooden frame. Very lightweight for easy hanging.

"Cottesloe Beach holds a special place in my heart. As kids mum and dad would takes us there for a swim. It was back in the day when the long swimming pool was on the sand. I guess it was filled with the sea water but it was a little unusual. I remember getting some zinc applied liberally to my nose and then left to dig around in the sand and jump in the pool. Can't remember going into the ocean. I wasn't a good swimmer, in fact I hated the water. Swimming lessons at the beach was like the worst hell you could imagine. I would cry so much mum and dad finally gave up making me attend classes. I was given a lifejacket that had a whistle and a light to attract attention. Then told to try and blend in with the other kids. Of course I was accepted and never made fun of! As a result I hate the water. You will notice how far from it this photo was taken!"
A select number of photographs are released as one of ones and framed to Christian Fletcher's specifications. The frame, size and price displayed are the only option for this particular image and have been determined to showcase the photograph.
