Limited Edition of 25.
I was recently on a photography holiday, that’s what I call it, with my wife in the Pilbara. It is the first time we have explored more remote areas, choosing to stay away from the ever more popular Karijini National Park. We were trying out our new camper trailer which allowed us to be off grid for extended periods. It was fantastic to have the freedom to set up right near the best photography locations and wait for the good light. In the twelve days we were away only three nights we had to pay for. The rest of the time we were camped on the edge of rivers, gorges and remote waterholes.
This limited edition photograph is of a particularly photogenic part of the Hamersley Range. We were heading home and decided to camp on the side of the road, tucked away behind some bushes right at the base of this mountain. The light in the morning was fantastic, the air still and warm. Perfect conditions to make beautiful images.
