Stretched Canvas – The canvas is sealed and then stretched around a wooden frame. Very lightweight for easy hanging.

“This fire was a control burn near Wyndham. There is something primeval about a fire. It attracts us, it is violent and spectacular, sort of like the footy. As a kid I was always burning stuff. As soon as we were old enough to walk my brother and I would go into the back yard and toast everything. We would create huge battle scenes with our plastic soldiers, Airfix model planes and marbles. One bright idea we had was to pour methylated Spirits onto the planes, set them on fire, and release them down a makeshift flying fox. I’m not sure how many planes we destroyed ,that took us hours to make, but it was a lot! All the while I was wondering, where was the parental supervision? Kids these days don’t know what they’re missing, probably just as well or every street corner would look like this photograph.“
