"In recent months I have been interested in work synonymous with the Heidelberg School, an Australian art movement of the late 19th century. It sought to capture Australian Life, the bush and the scenes that typify the country. When I saw this scene in a paddock in Yallingup I knew how I wanted the image to look. I consider that I create images I don’t take them. Pushing the button is the start of the process but I already have a clear idea in my mind how the end result will look. It isn’t until the print is made that my idea comes to fruition."
