The first week of our epic road trip took us into the heart of the eastern Pilbara region of Western Australia.  This image was taken at a free camping site we had on the Skull Springs Road.  I had wanted to return to this spot after driving through the area a couple of years ago.  It is about 140kms of rough gravel but worth the effort to visit.  It was so good to camp right where I was going to shoot.  We have a great off-road camper trailer and after a quick 5 minute setup it was time to explore the scenes around us and get ready for the sunset.
