I type this from my sick bed. Covid has finally got me. Luckily I have had a pretty mild illness so far. In fact the flu I had a month ago was way worse than this. So great, I get seven days off. Wait, what..... seven days off, now it might just be worth getting covid. I can't mix with the general population, can't go to the gallery, I am here at home in bed with the door open, sun streaming through, the sound of the birds and the gentle breeze in the trees. Hang on, sounds like I might already be dead. So what should I be doing with my new found time off? Youtube, Netflix, or something constructive?
I recently got a new Mac Studio and a 24" Wacom Cintiq screen for home so I will be spending some time on that I am sure. There is always editing to do and practicing some digital painting. I do enjoy creating images from a blank canvas. I would say I am a better photographer but with practice the frustrated painter in me might come out. It is all just a bit of fun and as they say, "don't give up your day job."
