Putting the B in Banal

Posted by on

photo of a tilt panel building with pencil pines and mountains in the distanceI was recently tasked with creating a video of how I capture and create my banal urban scenes.  I will be releasing this soon on my YouTube channel.  It was for a specific audience, those who are attending a workshop by the great Les Walkling, probably the brightest mind in all things photography, art and colour science.  It is full of "in" jokes so some of it may be lost on those who don't know Les but you will glean some insight to how I do things.  I do like this scene, it is constructed and not real but it is still photographic in origin.  I love this type of imagery as you may know, it keeps me inspired and keen to explore more urban environments.
