Jen and Shay have decided to run the Cape to Cape Track - Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse (123kms). Over the weekend they did the first 6kms, from the lighthouse to Three Bears Beach. I'm a rider not a runner so I was their skipper. This section of the track starts with 3kms of bitumen and boardwalk to Sugarloaf Rock (wheelchair friendly). From here it's a dirt track with some soft sand and gentle undulations, to Three Bears. Three Bears is one of the best surf breaks in the region but on this day there wasn't any surf. The coastline is so spectacular, untouched and remote. I'm looking forward to being part of this over the next few weeks.
