For the past couple of years, I have been collaborating with local Dunsborough artist, Ian Mutch. This one above is called 'Beach Blanket', an image that makes you smile and feel good. It is important to focus on the positives we have in our lives and be grateful. Who doesn't like snuggling under a warm blanket on a frosty morning. As winter approaches let us remind you of how wonderful our natural world is. Sometimes all you need is a new perspective and a nice glass of red!

Most of us can't travel far or are still in lockdown so I thought I'd bring a little piece of the world to you instead. Here are some of my favourite images from my travels and meandering around Australia and the globe, in a different time. Click on the image to find out where it is.

Some people say, a photograph isn't a photograph until it has been printed. I couldn't agree more. Thirty years ago when I was making prints, it was pretty hard to get a sense of anything looking at small negatives. Into the darkroom I would go, chemicals mixed, enlarger ready, safe light on. It was magical watching an image appear on the paper. Now days the image still appears on the paper but it comes our of a machine pixel by pixel. I love making prints, and I love making BIG prints. It ain't over till you have the physical object in your hands, or outstretched arms!
